Staffordshire is a landlocked county in the West Midlands of England. It borders Cheshire to the northwest, Derbyshire and Leicestershire to the east, Warwickshire to the southeast, the West Midlands County and Worcestershire to the south, and Shropshire to the west.
The largest settlement in Staffordshire is Stoke-on-Trent, which is administered as an independent unitary authority, separately from the rest of the county. Lichfield is a cathedral city. Other major settlements include Stafford, Burton upon Trent, Cannock, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Rugeley, Leek, and Tamworth.
Our Relationship with Staffordshire County Council
Due to our expertise within social work, we have a strong relationship with Staffordshire County Council and have a good number of candidates working there including social workers and Team Managers. Due to this, we are signed up to receive all of their agency vacancies, allowing us to send across CV’s that we feel are most suitable. If a candidate appeals to the council, they will suggest an interview, and we will contact the social worker to help set this all up.
We’ll then aid our social worker with interview practice and technique, and boost their confidence so that they can use their strengths throughout the process.Â
